Reign Of Forgiveness Poem by Heart Of Ink

Reign Of Forgiveness

Running away but I can't go any further
It feels like the once open world's caving in
I don't want to be sucked into this closure
Back to where I was but still not forgiven

I plead for more time, to make up my mind
The walls around me are starting to gather
I plead for more time, to make up my mind
To sort my way throughout this matter

Elements of anger are bursting in flames
Devouring the weak that are scattered in shame
A sacrifice of justice are those who supplicate
Begging for the mercy of the merciless...

In all this world of guilt and loneliness
Ghastly cold and blandly emotionless
Could we be the ones
To give hope to the hopeless
Could we once become
The ruling reign of forgiveness

Everyone's hearts are clearly broken
But we'res shattered pieces yet unfrozen
Could we be the ones
To have the bravery of the legends
Could we once become
The ruling reign of forgiveness

Oh, take these chains away
I don't want to be enslaved
The world was once a wide place
Now coldness of anger's what I inhale

Once upon a time of the omens
Now our conscious is open
And our pride's unrboken
No longer not forgiven

Let's scream,
Our dreams
Unite under forgiving remedy!
The reign of forgiveness!
The reign of forgiveness!
