Rejuvenation Poem by Venkateswaran Krishnan Sreenivasan

Rejuvenation

Prolonged idling and then back to work ad worship
Is akin to salvage from a sinking ship
A fall from a tall precipice steep
Into a flowery bed in the valley deep

Destined to bounce back and resume my mission
Of care of the sick refurbished with renewed vision
I keep my body and mind in action
To avert a setback in rejuvenation

Rejuvenation is a slow process
Time consuming with preordained stress
A slow motion picture bereft of drama
Causing frustration in the visual panorama
