Remember The Sacrifice Poem by Matthew Bresley

A soldier is the reason our children can go and play
A soldier is the cause for their daddy's raise in pay

We never think about it yet it happens everyday
Little kids they cry at night while their soldiers is away,

They swore to put our freedom first even though they knew the price,
They love their families most of all but for their country they'd give their lives,

So when you face a long day and the stress you just cant stand,
Think about the soldier who sleeps freezing in the sand,

Think about their families who silenly await that call,
That their soldier will be home to see them, or never be home aat all,

This is the price that must be paid when we promised them a dream,
A soldiers life is currency Navy, Airforce and Marine,

You will never see them shy away from the price that must be paid,
For as long as there are boots on ground the dream is here to stay
