Remember Who You Are Poem by Kellyn, A Grau

Remember Who You Are

Open the shades to a brighter tomorrow
Tear away all the time that was borrowed
Recover from heartache and start over a new
Look over your closed mind and see a new view
The darkness will help you to feel a new emotion
Throw all your fear out to the ocean
Forget for a moment, everything that makes you cry
Take a second to look up at someone and ask them why
Discover your self and let no put you down
Because how long do you think they will be around
People come and go so don’t put up and act to hide things from them
If you didnt have your persona, then you would be condemned
So speak of things that cross your mind and fear nothing in this life
Use your knowledge to help you and steal back the knife
The one that broke you down in the first place and brought on your pain
Healing takes time and the tainted blood will still run in your vains
Until you break away from the spell that has you so forlorn
You’ll have to be the one to rip out that evil thorn
Yes you’ll bleed and you’ll have a small scar
That’s why you’ll throw all your misery afar
Take time to discover what you can see
Remember that no one can tell you how to be
So take the time to heal but be more careful next time
Because its sick how the darkness can be so sublime
