Remembrance Poem by Nina gáspari

Remembrance

I can still remember
Slowly watching you slip away
From me, with every smile you gave
Every harsh word you said
I can still remember
Slowly losing you due a hot temper
Still was too blind to see,
All the things that i´ve done weren´t me
I can still remember
Slowly noticing it in the body language
How it was all too nasty to be managed
I can still remember
Slowly watching it, from your own eyes
Your attempt to dignify all the lies
To me, with every smile you gave
Every fake word you said
I can still remember
Slowly losing you trough my touch
Still was too blind to see
I had already had enough.
