Renewal
The year has just turned, so
get some warmth and hope,
as. you turn those pages,
of disappointment,
plans and dreams,
gone up in smoke.
Remember:
you were just saving them,
to fuel the year ahead,
complete with all the skills
and cunning you developed,
in the year that's dead.
So let the stage be built,
from the rubble of the past,
for a future that is strong,
to inspire, and to last.
