Rest on me

It takes me wrong
the nights are barren and not for song
I suffer sleepless nights
nothing goes right
I turn off and on
count the time gone
nothing helps
but remember only sweet whispers
"sleep love"
I awake fully and refuse to believe
i slip down in memory lane
I hear his lovely tone
"rest on me "
feel no lazy
leave behind everything
I have for you something
I don't hear anything
but try to bring back
those sweet days
and try to stay safe
