Resurection Poem by Abul Kayyum

Resurection

Ominous Earth veils her tearful eyes
With the loose end
of darkness, her night gown,
For ever.

Even the loveliest mountain
That stole millions of hearts
Is collapsed
And the sweetest silvery structure too.
Pride, wealth and beauty
Are ended in a twinkle
As carbon disappears like stream
Leaving no cages of cities
Nor any stone’s flickering soul,
Leaving no molested civilisation
Nor the intolerable embraces of lovers
on the demolished bed of roses.

Ominous Earth veils her tearful eyes
With the loose end
of darkness, her night gown,
For ever.

Nice work with the muse of nature! As mankind destroys the earth.
