I awoke
With three bullets in my back,
in a dark and cold tunnel
from a time I don't know
I walked for eternity
to find my way home
The spirits of the past
guiding my path
One was called Peter
He tended my wounds
All is life he said he'd seen me
walk this path
Thirtyfive years before I was born
he said he'd seen my soul
He guided me to daylight
and said it's now time to rise
Rise like the crow
Go seek your revenge
Lay three bullets
in their hands
Watch their souls
Turn to sand
Three bullets in my back....is that you got back-stabbed for 3x? For me..Spirit must close to soul...it make consciousness alive 'Peter', had this before? and ask you to seek revenge? ? I guess rise like a crow is good but revenge for that...hmmm not good because we wont change past either, but we are stronger than ever Turn them to sand, wont bury the dark past...but sure nature of life The bullets shot on you will turn back like boomerang right to their chest Just rebirth your life into armor feather, my Crow! ! _Unwritten Soul
Go! it's time to revenge revenge is the best feeling of all you feel the strengh in and justice you make your own don't waiting for some stupid divine justice it will never stop your thirst Godd poem Dave
This poem is phenomenal, I love the flow, and shere genius of the imagery, very impressive write. :)
Revenge is sweet, but not wise. Though sometimes it would be great to do unto others what they do unto us. Very passionate poem...
This is very good. I somehow knew there will be poets writing in this uncomplicated style. I also invite you to read my poems particularly, Tiring Day.
Interesting concept, interesting poem, made me think and I like that.
I am fond of this one as well Dave. You are a very accomplished writer.

I would like to translate this poem
Salvation ('moksha') still far from sight.. Revenge still presented as duty ('karma') .. No escape from cycles of births and deaths! ! ! Crow depicting free spirit.. Adept transcendent exposition.
