'Rich Or Poor' Poem by Linda Winchell

'Rich Or Poor'

Rating: 2.8

Some seem to strive for money and success
Then forget about all of what it tends to bring.
For the price of wealth and position of
A worshiped god to whom they do cling!

Forgetting all of the poor in spirit
And those who hunger and do thirst!
Placing ourselves ahead of others needs
And putting ourselves first!

Be you rich or poor
God see's your every need!
And if your blessed to enjoy God's given fruits
You also need to share in the fortune
That their nourishing juices bring.
