Riding On A Magic Carpet Through The World Of Dreams Poem by Justin Gildow

Riding On A Magic Carpet Through The World Of Dreams

Riding on a magic carpet through the world
of dreams
Everything looks peaceful
As well as looking happy
But looks can be deceiving
That much I know

Riding on a magic carpet through the world
of dreams
Ostriches fun blazingly fast across the grasslands
Snakes stand up and slither fast across
desert sands
Porcupines crawl along in closed off areas
Cloaked and masked men keep watch
over the hills
And many other minions who dislike me
are at work somewhere
Working on something evil

Riding on a magic carpet through the world
of dreams
I can tell I'm safe
For right now at least
That much I know
Whether by passing locations I know
Those of land, sea, and air
I know I'll eventually find my way there
Wherever I may go
On my way
