Roots And Fruits (Octave) Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

Roots And Fruits (Octave)

Who we are came from roots
No one evolved from nothing.
Sun and rain in life bore fruits
Of love, hate, fear, or caring.
Minds feed on the soil of these
Beliefs and breeding make the Man.
He grows up giving Death or Peace
We can know him by all he has.
