Run From Myself Poem by Anne Unknown

This poem is inspired by two song: snowpatrol- run and three days grace- get out alive. enjoy

I only have a few minutes more,
before I have to run for my life,
You're the only thing I don't regret in my life,
so please don't doubt yourself.

I need to leave,
to get away from this place,
otherwise I'll never be able to get to the otherside.

I'm afraid,
I'm scared of myself,
I need to withdraw from here,
or I will never get out of this alive.

You've done your best,
but I can't stay anymore,
I have to vanish from sight,
in order to come back to you when everything's over.

So, at the end of my words, I take my leave,
I turn around and walk to the horizon,
and hope I'll see you again someday.
