Sad And Forlorn Whil'st Stranded In La La Land. Poem by Michael Gale

Sad And Forlorn Whil'st Stranded In La La Land.

Rating: 5.0

Caught in La La land without a ride...
Can leave one inert as if inside a pool of cement.
The sadness that arises fro' this situation can keep one mentally tied...
Are we drowning in our own pool of sadness and depression?
Is a lethal injection of forlorn lonliness close at hand? ...
Are we still feeling that we've been trapped in fast sinking quicksand?
Throw me a lifeline please and pass it fast...
I just don't know how long i'll last?
Depressional tides can drown me quick...
Survival of the psychologically unfit may be an unusually hard trick
to master at best.
How can i survive the life long test? ...
Because i've been around the block a few times more than the
usual mark.
I'm in my home...
My natural habitat indoor outdoors park.

Another great poem, Michael. I like the way it skips haphazardly, matching the subject matter - in my opinion, it was put together thoughtfully. Made great reading. Love, Fran xx
