Nutritionist, diabetes or
dietician
All to be unheeded in my
sweet tooth's opinion.
For how can I abandon
That chocolate canyon?
And same goes for yummy
chocolate fudge
Eh to a trifle could I bear
any grudge?
Ah treacle or caramel pudding
And apple crumble needs no
bidding
The craving wishes to devour
the dessert
Few would desert a tasty jam
tart!
Not forgetting swiss rolls and
cup cakes
and whatever other
sweetmeats the baker bakes.
Ah custards, ice-creams,
muffins and jellies
the only deterrent perhaps, the
fear of rounded bellies
Only if the dietician would
recommend instead
to cut down on leafy grassy
veggie salad
For if there was for it a polling
booth
I'd vote in favour of my sweet
tooth!
Ha Ha Ha Ha! Totally loved this poem! I too choose the sweet tooth over leafy, grassy veggie salad! Really enjoyable poem, you made my mind water for sweets now! Thank you for sharing this poem! Also, thank you very much for your comment on my poem Nature Of A Mind. I appreciate it very much! Keep writing, I enjoy your poetry. RoseAnn
A delightful sweet-poem you composed here! Really delicious!
Ah! I am with you. Thank you for your words. We all need some spice in our lifes.... But not as much as we need the Sugar! Just love the picture.
Oh my, you and I think alike in this respect. The sweet treats are so wonderful. Life is too short to deprive ourselves of these tasty morsels. But that's okay, as long as we eat them in moderation (but that's where the problem lies, right?) Delightful poem.
Even the most ardent sweet meat lovers would not be able to put across the subject so effectively as has been done by this wonderful poem. I love the way you have done it. Happy sweet tooth.
Dangerous because you express your love of sweets so well that people will be persuaded to eat more and will grow fat, blow up like dynamite
My big brother and a lady friend will both love this poem ^_^
