Same Honor Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Same Honor

Our role is questioned
We all have been misled
To believe untruth
As only truth

How many are killed daily?
With torture and pain really
The women folks are raped
And children are slapped

What do they have in their mind?
We have never cared to find?
It is agony and frustration
Only cases for victimization

The land has been devastated
Not allowed to be cultivated
Daily marauders come and plunder
We run helter and scatter

Will we be able claim for mothers?
Same honor and offer
Right place in history
For poverty and misery
