As i feel the world spin and slip away
My eyes fall closed and i realize the end of the day
It happens so fast, it seems so surreal
Lying here so far from you, tell me how to feel
I find myself wishing i was so much more
I know i don't have the guts to knock on your door
For so long now you've been holding me down
But my view from rock bottom inspires no frown
I know it's a lie to say I don't miss you
Someday i just hope i learn to follow through
For now my courage lies in the bottom of this bottle
Though as far as it gets me, it's not worth the trouble
Everytime you need me i'll aways be here
We'll sit down and talk as your new boy brings you to tears
My polite fake smile can't hide all my emotion
So desperate for you i stayed up making a love potion
I always have and won't stop freezing all our memories
Hung up on the impossible, i've forsaken being happy
And since you'll never be mine, there's not much i can do
I lost all my smiles, to see just one on you.
