The biggest lie ever told me
Was the one to make me happy,
To fill my soul with warmth and glee
Was the one to which I could not disagree.
It was the lie that was spoken by she
As I stood beside her, as I was her he,
The one to which I did happily agree
The one to which set my soul and my mind free.
Soon I would be joyously falling on one knee
Then unto her I would make a promise and a plea,
To my heart and my house I gave her the key
Joy was my absolute feeling, and decree.
When she needed help I gave her money
As she was my heart and also my honey
Now as I look back with tears I think how funny
It was only I, who made our lives sunny.
The lie was a promise, an oath and a guarantee
That happily forever with her I would lovingly be,
Finally my dreams and my wishes in her I could see;
The biggest lie, it was her saying that she loved me.
