School Strife Poem by Daniel McLaughlin

School Strife

Rating: 5.0

My alarm sounds, wakes me up to the day
I hit the snooze button and stay in bed
My mother walks in, and what does she say?
Get up! you have school, your as lazy as lead!

Oh how i hate school and all that we do
I hate science and math, and Japanese
Complaining to Mum as i tieup my shoe
i feel a bit sick, Can i stay home please?

She gives me a frown and shakes her head
'Just do up your tie and get in the car! '
Can't i stay home and watch movies instead?
NO! Your already late this has gone too far.

The phone rings, Mum answers, its Mrs Brown.
She hungs up and says, your school has burnt down.

Yes, A funny way to put it. But don't you think the end was a bit harsh?
