Scotland And Scots. Poem by Konstantin Ananin

Scotland And Scots.

- Mr. McMillan, I heard
That an Englishman had bought
Your dog.
- Yes, he bought my Spot
For three hundred pounds.
- What?
But Mr. Breeze could buy him
For five hundred.
________________- Yes.
______________________- It seems
Strange to me.
______________- Why? Mr. Breeze
Lives in Buenos Aires.
Spot can’t cross the Atlantic,
But can run back from Kent, Nick.
