Scratches Of A Pen Poem by David McLansky

Scratches Of A Pen

Rating: 4.5

Breathless in the face of you
eyes widened for effect
I lose a moment of eternity
with each ticking of the clock

languid in your bathrobe pose
nightgowned white beneath
the knitted filigree of the too soft cotton
drives me mad with ecstasy
