The movement of the eyes,
The expression there
The loving looks
That mean so much
And sweetly stare,
Saying how much
They really care
For there's no deeper
Silent love
Than in those looks,
Not anywhere,
That keep on saying
What the lips
Don't even dare.

I recall a time when I was afforded that look. Even then, I knew it was at least in part, a limbic system response on her behalf. It triggered my own. No such experience has occurred again for 2 decades. I presume that it would now frighten me.
