Secret Love Poem by Rose Marie Cook

Secret Love

Rating: 5.0

He smiles sweetly
Passes her everyday
A glance when she's not looking
Comes her way

She walks by slowly
Music turned up
Eyes down low
She won't admit he's the one

He sits down beside her
Sneaks looks every class
He blushes deeply
But the moments pass

Her hair falls forward
She looks secrely between it
She writes his name everywhere
Her hopes fade when reality hits

He brushes her hand
Drops a note on the floor
Gives her a look
Tries to tell her she's the one

She blows off the hint
Grabs it after class
Runs to her locker
Opens the note fast

He watches from a distance
He stares in awe
Waiting for her reaction
The time ticks by

The words on the page
Make a smile across her face
She runs to her friends
Then she sees him

He smiles at her
Gives her a look
To tell her he cares
That she's the one

She jumps into his arms
Holds on to what she's got
Kisses him deeply to prove
He's the one
