Secrets Poem by Lento Maez

Secrets

Rating: 4.5

When one relates
To one’s own thoughts
One stands the chance
Of jaded thoughts
Of things that have been
Of thoughts hence untold
Of life yet to be lived
Of lives not quite bold
Where lies the truth
In secrets foretold
By innocent youth
What is the reason
What secrets dwell
Beneath one’s life
Yet cast a spell
