Seeing Traces Of Younger Days Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Seeing Traces Of Younger Days

Opening heart and mind wide, feeling the excitement as adrenaline
pours itself into our willing bodies, loving how it rushes and
races throughout our beings.

Looking beyond the horizon, seeing traces of what we once were
when younger, recapturing and letting them fill the voids and
emptiness that life has left us with.

Time now to start filling them with many flavors of what we used
to be and do, in a way starting over in new and exciting ways as
we build our futures however we choose to.
