Perhaps I was wrong
I should not have done those
And said the things which did nothing good
Neither for me nor for them
Instead, a great damage had been done to all
For the longer run, for longer relationships
I should have understood that
They have all sentiments just like I have
They get hurt as I get
I should have restrained
From winning debates
No prizes I win from their defeats
But I keep losing their hearts
Above all, I should have respected
Their honour and dignity
And recognized that they are too
Or belong to the race called human being
By no means none is fit for
Any humiliations and disrespect
Unconditionally I offer my apology
For my past misconducts
As well as for my misjudgements
In advance.
A great write Wahab. Speaking our minds is not good sometimes. It is better to remain silent and think before we speak. Respect others feelings.
No prizes I win from their defeats But I keep losing their hearts Beautiful lines expressing apology for things that happened at times. Everyone goes through such situations. Apologize and follow the new path. Thank you for a poem with a learning experience.
Self-criticism by Abdul Wahab here poet has described a beautiful thing and that is truth we forget the self value and forgets the self realisation in a race or what poeple say neck breaking race''BY ANY MEANS fairly played no problem..if thought great to self by destroying others greatness is wrong, we all are great and superb HUMAN Hurting others hurting to self here a realisation by poet individual to general and accepting the past folly to be holy nice thank you sir
