Sepia Poem by Mubeen Sadhika

Sepia

Rating: 4.8

The cuttlefish bone skeleton
remains at the end of the street

the green blood turns to
smother the gloom inside

the dye springs into lurid
deep rooted traces to recur

the images to be shaded to
freeze the deaden and

the pigment tans the
somber browning effect

the tone goes low to
dislike the harmony that

drives the imbalance to
limitless edges nauseating

the pungent mood into
livid memory of antique.

Painters of olden days painted with the ink from Sepia…and even today in photography ‘Sepia Color’ used as special effect…well penned… 10 Ms. Nivedita UK
