Serve Me With Love Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Serve Me With Love

Rating: 5.0

The muse of life,
Kindly take me in and serve me with love;
For, the people in this town have sold a girl for wine!
And, have excahnged a boy for a prostitute.
Yes! Like the Hellenistic culture of the Pagan Temple;
And like the muse of the House of Pleasure,
As many forget the truth about life itself.
