Settling Thoughts Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Settling Thoughts

Water flowing circularly in a fountain pool,
water rippling, tickling the surface, reflecting
a shimmering sunshine from above.

Glimmering water falling from rocks piled atop
one another, chasing each other down and through,
gravity pulling it in a steady, trickling stream.

Brilliant, soothing, settling thoughts as they
appear incessantly in depths of intellect.
