Sham Poem by Madhuri Sawant

Sham

Those interested in flaunting
Others, never ever reach the goal,
Wasting their liveliness in false vigor,
That never exists,
Yet they show it to other,
Only for a false appreciation,
Don’t know what an appreciation
Of a true hard work and toil,
They know how to make up for their foil.

Those shams are the pageant of forged,
Which their lives are not genuine,
They don’t have real time,
They don’t have real conscience,
But they do have real temptation.

Murderer are hanged, criminals are punished,
Who realize their own doom?
But shams neither they know their crime,
Nor they believe in their doom.

They change the law of nature,
That truth are blindfolded by lied,
In an crowd of shams,
Sometimes I wonder who the right sham is.
