ah! as I close my very eyes
I see pretty distant light
calling me, me to come, not
to be afraid, don't wait
I can't stop looking then
i blink to see more beauty
surrounding me, am in garden
tending my vegetable plants

rabbits are coming at night
nibbling leaves, leaving their
tooth marks; droppings, naughty
i have built-in wire mesh fence
still they dig a hole or climb
tempted to put electricity on it
they're like me they want to eat

Enjoyed reading it. It's lovely to be surrounded by beauty. And yes, food is a big temptation for every living soul.
