She Can'T Get Away Poem by Kelsi Mancillas

She Can'T Get Away

Rating: 4.0

There's a girl in the darkness,
who can't find the light
and she can't get away.

She cries for someone to come
and save her soul
but she can't find her way.

She cuts herself in the
remembrance of the hurt
leaving the slits so
she can't forget how she can't get away.

I can't find my way
from the pain today.
I can't find my way
from you these days.

She thinks about the one
who she thought had come for her
but she can't find him now.

He would say all the right things
and do what she would say
but he's no where to be found

She cuts herself in the
remembrance of the hurt
leaving the slits so
she can't forget how seh't get away.

I can't find my way
from these knives tonight.
I can't find my way
so I can win this fight.

Cause there's a girl in the darkness,
who can't find the light
and she can't get away.

She cries for someone to come
and save her soul
but she can't find her way.

Very deep and heart breakingly beautiful. Can relate to the cutting completely. Good piece.
