She Put A Rind Around The World Poem by Mark Heathcote

She Put A Rind Around The World

She put a rind around the world
set it aside like an unopened flower
But once, bloomed her dust-run-through
Like a rainbow after a shower.

She put a rind around the world
And beheld her oceans pearl
With sea lank-arms, it held her tight
Though was herself of an unknown light.
