Should I Stay Or Should I Go?

infamous poet James K Baxter attains
distilled depth in 'Pig Island Letters (2) '
but I believe an OE would have added
extra dimensions in maturity to James

K to other stay at home kiwi artists?
experience of living in other countries
cultures marrying into different mind
concepts thought altering transitions...

birth into a multicultural awareness
realization added artistic dimensions...
what is touchstone mythic New Zealand
poets ability to titillate pub audiences?

buzz rebels high-octane iconic prophets
personify rural kiwiana in adept strokes
rot old swanndri worn in wet bush tramps
pavlova chocolate fish pineapple lumps...
