Signature Poem by angel lockheart

Signature

Your signature you sure did write,
Across my chest across my life,
A burning fire in script so fine,
My beloved you so severely inscribed,
A path of pain in its wake,
Is the only thing you did not take,
When you left me forlorn, stranded here,
A lonely gypsy lost in a torrent of fear,
For when my prince just up and left,
You chose not my body but my heart instead,
And kept with you as a souvenir,
To take with you with your travels dear,
Across the world to another’s arms,
That will comfort you and keep u warm,
Until another trophy you will enfold,
To stuff in your bag to take along,
The diamonds in the dust you forever found,
And claimed for your own without a thought,
For our feelings or for our hearts,
You so surly broke and cast away,
Into your bag of hideaways,
All the jumbled pieces scattered among,
Never knowing what we did wrong,
Why weren’t we pretty or enough?
For just one man,
That you had to go and take our friends,
And concur them too, this won’t ever end,
A sadly story this will entail,
But in The End,
You will not win.
