She’s got the song to sing,
She’s got the rhythm and the music,
It’s beating through her blood,
Her feet are dancing,
Her hips are swaying-
She’s only got so much time.

She’s gotta dance fast enough to prove to them,
To prove to them she’s real,
To prove to them she’s got what it takes,
To prove to them they can’t make her bend,
And prove to them they can’t make her break,

You’ll never see her cry,
She knows she’s being tested by them,
But she’s got something to prove,
And she won’t give up ‘till she’s done,


They can’t live without her,
She’s the story of their lives,
The story of their past,
She helps then through their hard times,
And helps them through their best.

She’s going everywhere she hasn’t been,
But never where she’s been before,
Because she has to hurry,
She only has so much time to get to them all.

She won’t run away,
And she’s never lost,
Cause everywhere,
Goes somewhere.

You’ll meet her when your time is hardest,
& she’ll enfold you in her protective wings,
When she’s done; you’ll go on with your life,
But even when you get old, you’ll still remember her,
She’ll dance through you dreams at night,
And sing in your thoughts at day.

This girl, she’s living her life now,
You can see it on her face that she’s determined,
Because she’s an angel with a mission,
And has something to prove.
