Silence Poem by Azul Noir

Silence

A chair creaks, a clock ticks - and silence
The air hums, a door thuds - more silence
My need for you is quietly constant
We wait, my need and I, in silence

We don't wait for you - we wait for silence
Silence holds time and space and distance
Silence moves from me to you and binds us
We wait, my need and I, you'll find us

When silence brings together all it holds
My need will meet your need and fuel us
Our needs and hunger will consume us
We'll moan in ecstasy and fall back down

- In breathless, sated silence
