Silence In The Sadness Of The Early Morning

SILENCE IN THE SADNESS OF THE EARLY MORNING

Silence in the sadness of the early morning
What to do this day in a time when life is meaningless?
What to do any day and every day for the rest of my life?
What to do and what will happen if nothing is done?
Silence in the sadness of the early morning
No answers now
And no answers for the day to come
Though there is the hope that somehow
Somewhere in the course of the day
Some meaning however small
Some hope however miniscule
Will return
Perhaps.
