As small boy
I had everything to enjoy
With brothers and sisters
And of course with mother
Those were golden days
I put my head in her lap and stay
It was as if heaven was here
I never used to step out anywhere
I was taught to touch her feet
Say some words in the name of almighty and greet
It was family tradition
The strong base for any foundation
Mother taught me one thing clearly
Love all by heart and dearly
Never use any word sarcastically
That shall pinch your heart daily
Try to be reasonable and tolerant
Never reply badly or retaliate
That shall grant you peace
You will always stay at an ease
