Sin Poem by Richard Ikolo

Sin

Rating: 5.0

A three-letter word, but dangerous
A trap for the careless and the frivolous
Only few know you to be cancerous

Adam and Eve brought you to existence
You've courageously fought with persistence
And conquered your victims through patience

Lured multitudes to their untimely graves
Aborted and shattered golden dreams
Kept billions behind prison bars

Your meals are usually free
But no eater goes scot-free
You always go on a wrecking spree

I abhor you with passion!
Done a lot of destruction!
From generation to generation!

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This is not just a poem, but a message.Sin is not in any way friendly. No one plays with sin and goes scot-free.Sin entertains you now, but embarrasses you later.Fear sin, flee from sin and live a sinless life through faith in the atoning blood of the lamb.

Someone is always the victim to those who sin. A great poem. Take a look at my poem called, Sinners To The Victims.
