Sing A Song To Me

Sing a song to me
Let me hear the words
Caress my soul
Lift me to a blissful place
That mentions love untold
Sunny places for me to rest
Let it bring warmth
Lyrically wrap my heart
Dispel troubles of the day
Sing a song to me
That carries me to the clouds
So I can fly upon my dreams
Swoop down and see
Anxieties crushed and cowered
Worries scurry all away
Only joy enters me
Sing a song for me
Of kisses oh so soft
Touches like silk teasing
Breath warmly tickles
Empty mind full heart
Light, joy intertwined
Till the very end
Sing a song for me

Poem of the Day

poet Sir Walter Scott

The moon's on the lake, and the mist's on the brae,
And the Clan has a name that is nameless by day;
Then gather, gather, gather Grigalach!
Gather, gather, gather Grigalach!
