Sister, Sister Poem by Edwina Reizer

Sister, Sister

Sister, sister where are you?
Since you left I've been so blue.
Are you someplace, someplace near?
Are you someplace better than here?

Here is where things move along
sometimes right and sometimes wrong.
Makes me happy you don't see
so mush woe and misery.

Sister, sister where are you?
What I envision, what I view
are fields of flowers and butterflies
surrounding you before my eyes.

Here my eyes must look upon
everything that's going on.
Some of it so hard to bear
and as I age it seems unfair.

Sister, sister where are you?
In my dreams and waking too,
my family is my life for now
and I think you know all this somehow.
