Sisters Poem by Margaret Kollmer

Sisters

Rating: 5.0

There's a little bit of sweetness
in everything that's sad
And a little bit of goodness
in everything that's bad.
Both you and I are such a mix;
a glowing pot-pourri
That colours life's great canvas
for all eternity.

To say that I am frivolous
is quite okay by me
But then, again, the other side
is serious, which you be.
Diametrically opposed -
We're two sides of a coin
Able blood-tied partners
in imperfect harmony.
