Skylark's Song Poem by Xielgnihhan Amasahdympaehk

Skylark's Song

O' Skylark of the Northern Wood,
Thou art a creature that could,
Make any such day as today,
As a siren could, if she may,
But only you could sing a song,
That can'st make me feel like I belong,
And with thy beak thou dost preach,
Such a verse that it shall beseech,
All who hear it to stop and listen,
To every word as it glistens,
For thou art a master of song,
And thou make'st me to once again feel young,
So I say'st this thing that thou already knew,
And I only say'th it to a few,
Thank you, for that thing of beauty,
For with it, thou hast set me free.
