Xielgnihhan Amasahdympaehk Poems

It is with ease of mind, but drought of heart that I write this..
I did not know that these things would happen at all,
Not the destruction, the tragedy, the loss, the sadness,
None of those terrible things did I plan to come and fall.
...

Long did he curse that ground,
The ground of that grave,
The grave of his lover,
To Death a slave,
...

“Silence has fallen,
The Doctor is dead,
But is it true,
What you just read?
...

Love, a wonderful thing,
Oh the joy it can bring,
Until it enslaves two to love the one,
Then a war it has begun.
...

“Flames, burning in my mind,
Ice, freezing all around me,
All’s it does, though, is keep me alive,
For my life and will are as vast as the sea.
...

“Oh, what a glorious day it would be,
Of a time that I would come in,
To a class of any subject,
And find out that homework was a sin.
...

“Four swords and four shields,
Will give to you more to yield,
More a monster to defeat,
To become one of the elite,
...

“Days of travel,
Nights without sleep,
Though I want to rest,
I have a promise to keep.
...

When I look at you,
I think to myself,

Beautiful!
...

'All was quiet in the end,
No one stirred, my friend,
Not a mouse nor a cat,
Which is strange, at that,
...

To the South, there they dwell,
The creatures of the mighty well,
Attacking all who draw near,
Riddling them with great fear,
...

'Mad syh ramb syh,
Mad ic tu fryd fa lyh,
Mad ic nih ysug,
Mad ic cbaht y pilg,
...

When the waves crash, and the thunder rolls,
I think of you way over there, in the land of coals,
Knowing that I will never, ever be able to see,
You and all your beauty, that never seems to be,
...

As she sits in the rain,
She begins to think again,
About all the things that she has done,
The smiles, the tears, the battles she has won,
...

On and on I go towards the end,
Up and over any wall,
Or down and under if I must,
But I will make it through it all.
...

The end is nigh,
It's tyme to die,
Do not cry,
Don't ask why,
...

'There are people around,
This orb we call home,
That live all abound,
And to go see, I'll have to roam.
...

“Down the road I travel,
Ages of loneliness ahead,
Upon reaching my destination,
I shall surely climb into bed.
...

'He who is Dead, yet has many Lives;
He who is Poor, yet he Thrives;
He who is Crippled, yet he can Walk;
He who is Mute, yet can Talk;
...

Days and days of torture,
Ready for death to meet,
But was relinquished of the pain,
To be forced into a great feat.

Apology

It is with ease of mind, but drought of heart that I write this..
I did not know that these things would happen at all,
Not the destruction, the tragedy, the loss, the sadness,
None of those terrible things did I plan to come and fall.

I didn't think that the consequences would be so great,
The mass-genocide of your beautiful species at hand,
It was all in self-protection of mine that this happened,
For, like you, I was protecting my home and my land.

I may never shake this thing from my mind,
But now, with a greatly heavy heart, I doth ask,
From you an acceptance of my apology,
And that ye bequeath unto me a humble task.

I shall, in return of destroying your world.. and home,
Go in search of some planet befitting of your kind,
And shall not return to whence I came from,
Till a place worthy of your species I find.
