Slow Whisper Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Slow Whisper

I wanted slow whisper
In my ears
To hear
And feel near

Not prayer alone
That had gone
So far
In favor

What can be best luck?
When it is struck
In uncertainty
To result in certainty

Oh no, it was not only
Desire really
But deep thought
That was always fought

Why can it not happen?
When she dreams heaven
Prays often
To become happy even

I shall wait
Till fate
Is conquered
And subdued
