Snow Globe By God Poem by Cat Hodgson

Snow Globe By God

Snow Globe by God

God shook my world today
He took me into both His hands
Shook it, creating a blizzard
Snow whirled around blinding

It came with brisk violent wind
Whiting out my view of everything
Whisking away my well laid plans
Lost I couldn't see where to go

But then, I looked up,
I watched enchanted,
The snow gentled
Kissing my cheeks my lips
With a thirst-Quenching moisture

The sun came over the horizon
Touching each snow flake with a diamond
I watched as gems floated to the ground
Glistening to sparkle His beauty…

It captivated my heart to grow
With love beyond words
I know through all my storms
If I can remember to look up

I'll see gems,
Made by Gods own hands
He holds the world by His fingertips…
