Social Distance At Heart Poem by Rajendran Muthiah

Social Distance At Heart

You don't observe the bilateral pact
that every message will get a reply.
The causes for the stand-ff between us
remain unsolved as you behave not with tact.

To beggars too, places in heart you yield
and make me effect a grievous pull-out.
Can a crowd in your heart keep distance
and ward off the harmful Covid with a shield?

One to one in life keeps away all ills.
When smiles 'lone individuate you from others
serve it to one, one, one alone with love
or will be ramping up of medical bills.

Covid seizes the lungs of those, swum into vice
So save them from gallows by proper advice.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
