Solitude Poem by jandy porras

Solitude

There she sits in the corner,
So quiet, silent, so delicate.
Offering her hands to passers-by
Begging for some food to eat,
While her teary eyes
are looking for some place to rest.

Then the rain started to pour
Covering the whole street,
And everyone’s home-warm-,
Nobody’s left on the pavements
Except the pitiful girl so weak
And her little spirit.

Her tears began to fall
So hot against her face.
She trembles as the earth breaths,
Frezing her bones and flesh.
Her heart starts burning low.
As she collapse there in the dirt.

Starting to feel none, as her ghost escapes.
Tomorrow the sun will kiss her cheek,
Cold, pale, dead, innocent.
She’s lying there, with the snow in the dirt.
Helpless young girl pathetic.
