The Jungle Poem by jandy porras

The Jungle

City is a fierce urban jungle
A place of prickly bushes,
Of fatal creatures waiting
For a right time to strike you down.

Around you are fast moving cheetahs.
Their black foul breaths are lethal,
Their fast rolling feet are crushers
Beware! Never bump one of them.

An abode of traitor serpents
With their eyes so grim
Their presence is so uninviting.
Lo! Better keep away from them.

Then, here comes this king,
The one on top of everything.
It’s ferocious paws’re scary,
It’s roar is deafening and creepy.

Despite of all these things I say
You’ll find a friend along the way
Someone who’ll help you defeat
And blow down your opponent.

City’s a jungle, a vast fierce jungle!
All types of competition are here
And all trickeries are played.
So my friend, BEWARE!
